I am excited and proud to share this post. WorkSquared, the organization for which I am proud to be associated, was recently awarded the 2009 Customer Satisfaction award from Herman Miller’s Certified Dealer Network. In October I attended the national Certified Network Leadership meeting with our President, Dan Rosema, in San Francisco. We were surprised and pleased to receive the coveted award, earned by having the highest customer satisfaction rating among Herman Miller’s certified network members over the past year. I decided to share a picture of both  our 2009 and 2007 awards because we are consistently rated as one of the top Herman Miller dealers in this and many other categories, year  after year.

None of this is possible without two key stakeholders – our clients and our people. It is for this reason I wish to post this note to acknowledge our appreciation of both.

Clients – thank you so very much for giving us the opportunity to serve you. The fact that this award is received due to your feedback on Herman Miller’s customer surveys assures me that our teams truly care about our performance, and more importantly, about delivering the results and amazing interior environments that help you achieve your strategic business objectives.

It’s a simple device you add to your Herman Miller systems furniture to improve its performance by saving electrical energy, 24/7.

EM works by controlling two of the four circuits of power in a cluster of workstations. When a person sits down to work, an occupancy sensor detects them and turns on the devices plugged into those two circuits—task lights, printer, computer monitor, and power brick, etc. After the person leaves, the devices automatically turn off.
